So adding sweet little Asha into the mix is a piece of cake! She is a laid back little baby. She eats well, sleeps really well and is pretty predictable.
Now that being said, I have learned that there are some things you just don't do with three kids though. For example, going to the grocery store. ha! Right before we had Asha we decided that one of us will do the shopping on the weekends and bring one child. And that has been successful so far, but I decided yesterday to break our new rule and bring all three with me. Oh boy! We didn't have any tantrums, but we had about everything else. Whining, fussing, crying, kicking, running, laughing, falling down, and both of the older ones had to go #2 as we were halfway through. And preschoolers take about 20 minutes or more to do this. The best part was as we were walking down the cereal aisle they suddenly heard the music that was playing on the speakers and both started dancing!
Toby has a new game he likes to play with Asha. He takes her hands and pretends she is driving a tractor while he makes tractor noises. Surprisingly, she likes it! She smiles every time!
And yes, Elliana is still an aggressive lover. She loves to squeeze, hug, hold and kiss her little sister ALL the time!
We are having lots of fun together. Babies just make me happy. :)
Look how cute these cousins are?
oh yay steph! I love your update and can't wait to meet her. Brian is off work starting next week and we would LOVE to make a trip to see you guys and maybe hop over to the zoo?! Lets talk soon :)
ReplyDeleteI found this so encouraging. Thanks for posting it. The transition from one kid to two was extremely difficult for me. I have hoped that going from two kids to three wouldn't be so bad, and it is nice to hear that it hasn't been so crazy for you guys.
ReplyDeleteI like that term 'agressive lover'! Asha already looks so much more grown up and smiling so big!
