catchin' up: thanksgiving

i realize that its been a long while since we've blogged. sorry, friends. first i'll start with thanksgiving. we had a really yummy lunch at the farm on thursday. we had a potluck with about 30 people, so we had lots of food! and almost as many pies as side dishes. the kids helped me peel potatoes to make mashed potatoes. mema, grandad, bubba and molly came and were excitedly greeted by toby and elli. toby has learned to ask mema, "what did you bring me?" :) after lunch a game of hackie-sack started between the young males. then it was time for football and naps.
