Toby: "eww, it smells like a poopie."


sitting in the wagon across from elliana...gets very close to her face
Toby: "whats your name?"
"uggie-ana?"
"i like it."

while walking on the path around the farm...toby stops and says,
" wait, i sneeze" (he makes a funny face like he is going to sneeze)
"no, i'm not" (as he runs off) "i'm all done"

randomly throughout the day...
Toby: "where daddy go?"
"what daddy do-din?"

Steph: "thats right, your not daddy. you are toby!"

and he goes through his mental list of names that he has memorized

isn't he great! we are having fun watching and listening to him learn more about himself and his world. lately i can't help but smile. toby and elliana are both so precious. i'm sure every mom feels this way about her kids. i'm just so proud of them! toby is really responding well to discipline. he seems to be understanding that it is good to obey us. and he is learning to play with other kids without too many sharing problems.

elliana loves books these days. her favorite place to be is on toby's bed looking at books. still, every time we go to the grocery store we are stopped by at least three different people that comment on how cute she is. recently an elderly man on a motorized cart was turning into our aisle and he was smiling and looking at elliana. then he ran into one of the displays! boxes and boxes of fruit roll-ups fell on him! it was hilarious. as i helped put the boxes back, he laughed and said that elli had distracted him. that was a few weeks ago. well we saw him again the other day and he stopped and said,"its you!" haha
