goat labor

a few weeks ago we got to watch a mama goat give birth! it was amazing! our whole family sat in the hay next to the mama goat and quietly watched her. we could see her tummy contracting and pretty soon she started pushing and then her baby poked out! he came about half way out and we saw that he was breech so David pulled him out the rest of the way. the mama immediately started licking all the goo off and then we saw the beautiful white baby goat! i cried it was so beautiful! i love this season of goats kidding. the babies are just so cute.
