farm day & wild turkey

Farm Day was on Saturday. It was so so fun! So many old farmers and friends came out for the festivities. The two big kids ran around all morning. Asha and I walked around and chatted with friends then listened to the bands under the tent. When one song ended and the audience started clapping, Asha would immediately start clapping like it was a reflex or obligation. We had fun watching and laughing at her cuteness. Asha took a 2 hour nap at the Smith's apartment midday, which meant that I got to eat slowly and socialize at lunch!

We spent the afternoon and evening at Roanin's monster birthday party at the river. That was so so fun also! That Sarah can really throw a party!

Uncle Jonathan stayed with us this weekend. The kids loved hanging out with him. Early Sunday morning the boys went to the pecan orchard a few miles away to hunt turkeys. Hours later they came home and Toby very excitedly announced that they shot one! They took the usual tough-looking hunter picture where you spread out the wings and show off how big the bird is with Jon's phone camera. But when they got back here they were in a goofy mood, can you tell? :)
